Eötvös Loránd University, Department of Econonomics
1117 Budapest, Pázmány Péter sétány 1/a

The starting team of core faculty includes scholars with PhDs from U.S. graduate schools as well as junior faculty working on their PhD theses. The Department may draw on concentric circles of scholars as it expands: a handful of able faculty members at other Budapest universities who indicated their wish to join us; a set of well-trained mid-career economists who do research and applied work at institutions like the Statistical Office and various local think tanks; as well as a number of senior researchers in the Institute of Economics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences who were instrumental in formulating the main objectives of the Program.
