When we designed our undergraduate program in Economics, we used the templates of the best programs in the world and the most well-known textbooks in the field to provide a quality education. We expect hard work from our students and require them to show what they know with confidence. Our ambition for excellence seems to have been validated by the placement of our alumni so far.

More than 90 per cent of the alumni of our BA program go on to master-level studies, half of them studying for a degree in Economics at universities accredited outside Hungary, at high-prestige competitive schools like New York University (NYU), London School of Economics (LSE), Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Universidad de Alicante, Institut für Höhere Studien (IHS), Universidad Carlos III, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, University of St. Gallen, Tilburg University and Central European University (CEU). We are proud that our former students have done well in these programs, several of them scoring at the very top of their class. Later they continued their studies through PhD programs in the US or Europe or were employed at private companies such as booking.com, at policy institutions such as the European Commission, at research institutes such as the Economics Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences or at think tanks such as the Budapest Institute for Policy Analysis.

Some of our BA alumni have chosen subjects related to Economics for their graduate studies e.g. at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (MA in Cognitive Science), at Københavns Universitet (MA in Agricultural Economics) or at the Glasgow Business School. Others have got employed right out of school at well-known private companies like Magyar Telekom (a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom), or the insurance giant Allianz.

What could better illustrate how our graduates fare than few individual career trajectories?
